5G Network- Advantages And Disadvantages

Our world has recently come in contact with the new 5th generation(5G) network which has more bandwidth than the previous 4G network. Many features of 5G include high network area coverage, excellent communication network and an enhanced capacity to download and upload data. BUT as a coin has two sides- this network has also advantages and disadvantages.
5G network is predicted to be launched in India in 2023. This network is assumed to be the sum of all the previous generations of networks. The network will provide help in technological advancements by providing large facilities such as health to finance at the fingertips of the users. Also, Virtual Reality experiences and Artificial Intelligence would be available on devices.

The 5g network services would cost a greater amount as it needs more towers and maintenance by telecom companies. The launch of this new network will cause generation of a lot of e-waste. Also, many bird species are likely to be in danger because of the radiations. The network also can cause malfunctioning of devices due to overheating.

Many telecom companies are working to overcome these disadvantages. Please write in comments about your views on 5G technology.
